To call this a duo almost seems wrong as such a comparison reminds one of a much more low key sonic universe than the clattering garage rock offered by the two guys in Johnossi (consisting of Johan Engelbert and Oskar Bonde or simply John and Ossi). And that is despite the fact that the instrumentation is often limited to just semi-acoustic guitar and drums. However, the ballads coexist alongside the noisy rock songs, and that is where Johnossi distance themselves from other garage rockers by providing proficient guitar playing and emotional song-writing.
